Menyusui.
Merupakan momen terpenting setelah fase hamil dan melahirkan. Setelah perjuangan panjang saat menjelang persalinan hingga akhirnya si kecil lahir ke dunia, menyusui menjadi interaksi pertama antara ibu dan anak secara langsung.

Sayangnya Indonesia harus menjadi juara dalam hal kasus positif covid pada anak rentang usia 0-18 tahun. Hal ini dipaparkan oleh pak Dokter Dr. S.T. Andreas, M.Ked (Ped), Sp.A pada rangkaian acara Pekan ASI Sedunia 1-7 Agustus 2021 (World Breastfeeding Week), yang mana Philips Avent bersama Shopee Moms mengadakan sharing session dengan topik “New Parents Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic”.
Lalu apakah ibu yang positif kena Covid-19 boleh Menyusui? Tenang Mums.. ternyata boleh kok menyusui asal protokol kesehatannya harus ketat. Ibu menyusui bergejala ringan masih bisa menyusui langsung. Namun ibu positif yang mengalami gejala berat, harus dipisahkan terlebih dahulu dari bayinya.
ASI dapat memberikan antibodi yang bisa melawan bakteri atau virus. Yang paling penting adalah penggunaan masker karena penularan Covid-19 melalui droplet, bukan ASI. Lalu sering cuci tangan ya Mums baik itu sebelum dan sesudah memegang bayi.
Usahakan hindari kontak di area mata, hidung dan mulut. Kalau memang dalam kondisi yang tidak memungkinkan menyusui secara langsung, Mums bisa menggunakan alat pompa ASI seperti Pompa ASI dari Philips Avent #SedekatCintaIbu yang dirancang khusus untuk para Ibu yang mencintai kegiatan dan buah hatinya.
