Sejak merencanakan pernikahan, Bunchy dan Ayah Adu memang sudah sepakat untuk tidak mengadakannya besar-besaran. Karena fokus kami adalah kepada kehidupan setelah pernikahan. Salah satu rencana terbesar kami adalah memiliki rumah impian.
Buat kami gak masalah kalau hanya rumah sangat sederhana. Tapi setidaknya kami ingin memiliki rumah sendiri. Bunchy agak terobsesi mengingat biaya ngontrak per bulan di Jakarta ternyata sama dengan cicilan rumah KPR bersubsidi di pinggiran Jakarta. Kan rasanya sia-sia kalau setiap bulan bayar tapi hilang begitu saja.
Ingat banget deh waktu itu Abah sempat menentang halus keinginan kami ini. Bahkan alm. Papa Ayah Adu juga menawarkan dulu untuk tinggal bersama mereka di rumah pondok gede. Tapi bukan Bunchy namanya kalau gak keukeuh yessss..
Sebenarnya alasan utama Bunchy mau punya rumah impian sendiri secepatnya karena belajar dari pengalaman. Sedari kecil keluarga kami tinggal di rumah saudara. Lalu saat rumah itu akan dipakai, kami pindah ke rumah istrinya Abah saat itu (sekarang sudah mantan).
Pada waktu Abah dan istrinya bercerai, Bunchy dan adik paling kecil pun harus terusir dari rumah itu. Padahal sebagian besar uang pensiun Abah habis digunakan untuk membangun rumah tersebut. Gak perlu dibahaskan berapa hasil pensiunan karyawan perusahaan minyak milik negara tersebut. Pokoknya pedih deh!
Makanya Bunchy bertekad banget mengusahakan punya rumah walau melalui KPR. Dan ternyata itu gak mudah gaes! Apalagi buat Bunchy dan Ayah Adu yang saat itu baru merintis benar-benar dari nol. Kalau ingat masa itu bikin senyum dan cuma bisa bilang Alhamdulillah..
Salah seorang sahabat Bunchy mengingatkan, memperjuangkan beli rumah impian itu memang butuh pengorbanan luar biasa. Perih seperih-perihnya. Dan ternyata memang itu yang kami rasakan. Perjuangannya sangat tidak mudah. Tapi ternyata Allah memberikan jalan yang begitu luar biasa sampai kami sendiri bingung.

Alhamdulillah dampaknya kami rasakan sekarang. Diberi kepercayaan si anak kicik ini, kami sudah memiliki rumah walau hidup masih terasa seperti rollercoaster, atap masih suka bocor sana sini x) namun Alhamdulillah kami memiliki tempat bernaung. Terlindung dari kepanasan dan kehujanan.
Di tempat inilah Al akan tumbuh. Belajar menjadi seorang anak yang cerdas dan sholehah. Gak kebayang kalau dulu gak maksain untuk punya sendiri. Mungkin keadaannya akan sangat jauh berbeda. Anak-anak bulu juga gak akan ada disini..
